Every famiglia needs a Godfather. This one might be made of metal.

The room glows with candlelight. The Mob Wives arrive in velvet, jewels and unmistakable style. At the center of it all: a robot in a tuxedo, a red rose on its lapel, and a presence nobody can ignore.

San Francisco builds the future. Now we want to put that future in the family portrait. SF Societies invites robotics founders, engineers and teams to audition their robot for the role of the Godfather of Robotics: a cinematic photo shoot alongside the Top Mob Wives of San Francisco.

Imagine your creation taking its seat in a world of golden thrones, glamorous company and old-school ceremony. A polished silver hand. A black bow tie. A knowing tilt of the head. The contrast is the story: human charisma meets machine intelligence, and a city’s creative spirit meets its engineering ambition.

A role for the robot with presence.

We’re looking for a robot and a team ready to collaborate on a memorable visual moment. A humanoid, a characterful machine, or a surprising creation with a story to tell: show us what makes yours distinctive. Tell us what it can do, how it is presented, and what your team would need to make the shoot work.

The ambition is a portrait with the top contestants from the Mob Wife election, coordinated with the participating people and robotics team. Bring the robot’s personality; we’ll discuss the staging, wardrobe possibilities, handling requirements, location and timing together.

Audition your robot. Introduce your team.

Suggest a robot, nominate a robotics company, or introduce someone who could bring this vision to life. Share a model name, company, useful links and a contact. A compelling introduction is the first step toward a conversation.
